One bad thing about living in a high density neighborhood is not having a yard. So we have to let the pesky little dog outside whenever he asks. Which is a bummer when it's 20' outside. Of course I just throw on whatever warm clothes are closest to the door.
My family laughs, sometimes. But I figure the neighbors already know I'm quirky, so they probably don't even notice my get-ups any more.
For the record: no 13 year old fashionistas were physically harmed by taking this picture. Emotionally? Maybe. She'll get over it, some day.

I nipped that one in the bud. Trained my puppy to ring a bell when he wanted to go outside and do his duty or is it dooty. It took a couple of weeks and then there was the period of ring the bell constantly because he thought he would get a treat. But now we are at the point of ringing only if we have to go outside to relieve himself.
1/2 marathon...good goal. full marathon, been there done that and my body has the memory of that.
We trained Pierre to ring a bell too. Problem is he rings the blasted bell whenever he's bored and wants attention. We've created a monster. A Gremlin, actually.
and they say man has the highest IQ!? Besides someone named Pierre demands respect!
I did take Enzo out for a run walk, my biggest issue is my run is barely his walk...so I have a lot of training ahead of me and at least 60 pds to lose...
I bet someone only takes him outside long enough to pee and not poo. Take him out longer and he won't ring the bell so much.
Oh, Anon, you have no idea. This dog usually walks 5 miles a day in the summer, and about 2 miles in the winter, if it isn't too cold. He's just too smart for us, that's all there is too it. Next dog will be dumber.
How, exactly, do you ensure a dumb dog? Someone should breed for that....
Living in Japan frees me from any norms of fashion. Here, not matching IS the style, so it's no big deal if I leave the house looking like a circus clown. It's kind of awesome, but I have to retrain myself to wear clothes tht match every time we hit the States.
